Amazing landlords, any problems we had were quickly resolved. They were always friendly and very respectful with everything. The house was brilliant and clean. Anybody to rent with Chris and Jacqui is extremely lucky, The house is in a brilliant location everything within a 10-15 minute bus ride. They cared about the house and especially the people inside of it.

I lived here from 2017-2018 and it was a great house. Had everything we needed, in a really convenient place for getting the buses to uni and to town. Handy for nipping to the local shops too (literally 10 seconds away from them!) Chris and Jacqui are great landlords, they really look after the place and if we had any issues they were dealt with straight away. They clearly care about their property and their tenants and I would not hesitate to rent with them again. The only reason we moved out of 1 Golgotha was group dynamics changing within the tenants, otherwise we would have stayed! We even asked Chris and Jacqui what other properties they had up for renting, we got on with them as landlords so well. The pictures shown are accurate and up to date, it really is a great house.

I had a very positive experience with New Digs. The house was very spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen was a great size and well-equipped. Despite the main road, noise was never a problem, though maybe that's because I had the back bedroom. Chris and Jacqui were very helpful and reliable landlords, always quick to respond to problems and queries. The application fees are comparatively low and our deposit was returned immediately after the tenancy. I would definitely recommend New Digs to anyone looking to rent in Ulverston.

I enjoyed my time in Ulverston and this was largely down to my rented flat. The flat and furnishings were in excellent condition , landlord always available for any information or help required and any issues dealt with swiftly. In addition the flat is in an ideal location which was easily commutable to my work at GSK and also a short walking distance to the town. If ever I'm back in Ulverston this will be my first port of call for accommodation.

I came to the area on business in May/June 2014 and was looking for somewhere to rent as I was going to be staying for a minimum of 6 months. I found the property online and made enquiries with the landlord for a viewing. I couldn't make the viewing but sent my husband instead and he gave the thumbs up. He definitely made a good choice and I was very impressed with the property when I moved in. Once the initial 6 months was up, I had no qualms about staying on at the property and the landlord made it very easy to stay. I ended up staying for over a year. I stayed at the property with my husband and we were made to feel welcome by the other tenants at the property. The landlord was extremely helpful and was always at the other end of the phone if we needed anything. He ensured that the grounds and building were highly maintained and if there was any problem, he'd be out within the day to fix it e.g. tumble dryer broke, was fixed in a day. Safety was a priority and he ensured fire alarms and carbon monoxide systems were tested properly as well as the boiler services being kept up-to-date. The flat itself was very comfy and had all the amenities you'd need. Barrow-in-Furness is approximately 20 minute drive away. The property is in a good location whether you work at GSK, Siemens, BAE, the Gas Terminals or the other industries in the area. I would highly recommend this property not only because of it's location and facilities but because you know you are in safe hands with your landlord.
